Weird wild stuff, You think it had a defect? Your lucky to have automotive parts place near you that have long v belts. Here they have just about done away with them except for the popular numbers still being used.

I had to order the belt but they had it the next morning. My guess is that it was a bad belt because the PTO and mower only have about 50 hours on them, everything spins nice and free. Not like I don't know what I'm doing. :bigthink:

Exactly why I went with the defect thought. I tried a belt from a local machinery place here. "Only thing I could get same day" the size was correct but it more like a V cog belt meant for pretty straight line use. Burned it up pretty quick. Have only purchased kevlar since.

That would have been hard to see!

I had added a 3 point lift to my 1811 a few years ago. Never used it till today. Works great for pulling t-post from my garden.

I didn't really feel like dragging this wagon with a few hundred lbs of parts in it by hand so I fired up the 1050.

Mowed with the 2264 till it started to rain. Decided to drag out the 1641 with the Haban sickle bar on it to cut some brush along the ditch where my pond drains, well that went bad because I got the 1641 stuck in the mud. Walk back to the shop and get the Kubota BX and drag the 1641 out of the mud, park the BX take the 1641 back to the shop and wash the mud off it. Walk back and get the BX bring it back to the shop and put it away. Well now the sun is out so get the 2264 back out and finish the mowing and then scrape the wet grass out from under the deck, put everything away and pour a cocktail and hit the pool. I'm done. :beerchug:
