Well we finally got our lights mounted. As you can see, we opted to keep them high and ended up mounting them to the hood. The lights themselves were a fantastic deal, $14.99 pair, stainless steel, and super bright. We installed two switches into the dash, one for the headlights and the other is for a rear facing work light that will be installed on one of the fenders next. I also installed a low oil pressure light above the throttle as the sensor was still functioning on the engine - might as well take advantage of it.

Ha! That's a good one too.

Many diehard purists would and or are cringing at what you have done, but I myself think you have done a very nice classy job of bringing the O up to today's standards with the engine and clean custom fabs.
Similar to what you see more people doing today with the old muscle cars. Keeping the classic look but installing current suspension and brake components to handle better and keep in control the better running computer controlled engines. Just a parallel comparison that I see. :beerchug: I love the decal. |
Great job on the O. There should be one happy boy at your house. Well maybe two since we are all kids at heart.
