Be sure it has the trip springs. Look at the bottom of the blade to be sure it has the cutter bar on it. be sure the mounting apparatis is what you need for your tractor.

The guy I am buying it from sold me my 149 and he says it will fit up correctly on the tractor...so we shall see. I just want to make sure I am getting everything I need as the trip is not conducive to running back in a few minutes cause something was forgotten.

Keep in mind the scraper blade can be turned upside down for more use if it has excessive wear. I always set my blades up about 3/4" to prevent the scraper blade from getting worn down. I've used one of my blades a lot to move dirt this summer in landscaping and was proud of the way that my cub both pulled and pushed the dirt to level out the ground. Glad you made your purchase and hope you are as happy with the utility of the blade as what I am.

I got the plow last evening...it is a bit rough around the edges but it is complete. Just needs a bit of elbow grease to get her cleaned. I may try the electrolosys on the subframe.
I did hook the guy for a set of weights too Not IH but they will work.

I do have a question that maybe someone can answer...if you look at the picture the quick attach pin that is just in front of my right foot is bent slightly forward. It was getting dark and I don't think the pin itself is bent, but the flat steel part that the pin is attached to is. Could this be heated a bit and bent back to straighten it up with out causing any issues????

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
