Default Man.. you guys wern't kidding

When I joined this forum, you guys warned be that I would be owning more cubs. That's the truth too. Picked up this 147 from a nice guy on CL. Brought it home last night. Played with it today and found me a nice mouse house around the cylinder cover. Those little turkeys like to hide out everywhere. Ok, Im putting my foot down no more cubs. I have enough now. I think.

I was looking for a 147 as I like the hydro but with the old style front end.

I am getting a knock sound on the top end somewhere I think it may have some heavy carbon under its hat. I hope that is all it is.

Nice looking 147! I had mice fill up my 108's tins with shredded shop towels, you know those blue ones. I started it up for the first time in the spring and it blew shreds of blue paper out the front!

Default Mice

Cayenne pepper has worked for us for 5 years. Just use good judgement on where, and how often you reapply.

Nice tractor! I’m sorry but you are just getting started, I tried to stop buying, couldn’t. You might as well start figuring where to put up a cub shed.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
