Make sure you lay a straight edge across that clutch plate to know its true. They tend to flex over the years and bow so the clutch disk only contacts a small part of it. I have thought of making a jig to press them back flat before dressing them up.

The 122 is coming along. I got the rear wheels painted and the tires mounted and filled with 50# of (used) antifreeze each. Contrary to popular opinion, and true to my nature I went with red for the wheels and I am happy with my choice. I purchased the 10.5 tires instead of the 8.5 and I can't say strongly enough how well I like the look!! we will see about performance as time goes on. The clutch is fully installed, and I also got the dash wiring all hooked up... you can see the two polarity reversing toggle switches I installed to control the front and rear lifts. One of these day's the machine shop will be done with the engine

Little update: front wheels are on. I mounted the narrow tires on the wide rims, looks a little goofy but that is how it is gonna be for now... maybe someday I will get a set of v61's. Got a newer style steering wheel installed, I prefer the look and feel of them to the original 122 wheel. Been doing some fab work on the front blade, I am solid mounting it with no angle option. I am thinking this will work better for pushing loose dirt and gravel and such at low speeds of course since I am forgoing the spring trip mechanism.

Well winter is about done in upstate NY and so is my project. I have no idea how many hours I have invested and I would hate to tally the bills lol, but I am happy with the outcome and I am looking forward to many years of use. In my opinion IH should have stuck with red for the cub cadet line, the yellow and white just doesn't seem to do them justice. Anyway, enjoy the pics, I threw one in of what it looked like before.
