NEED HELP!!! O fuel leak
so I have an O with a fuel leak. I couldn't find where it was coming from so I put on the spare gas tank and sediment tank. and I put some fuel in the tank and leaks coming from the tank to the sediment bowl, then the top of the copper line from the bowl to the carb.
where do I buy the rubber pieces that go in the copper line connections and if there a rubber o ring or something that goes between the sediment bowl and gas tank?

There are no o-rings or anything else that goes between the sediment bowl. The is a nipple that threads into both the tank and sediment bowl. The treads in the tank are soldered into place and the solder sometimes cracks, so that may be the issue, or the sediment bowl may need to be tightened a few turns.

Did you try google.com? One of the site sponsors at the top of the page probably has them. Or any website (partstree.com cubcadet.com etc) that sells cub cadet parts, or call your local Cub Cadet dealer.

had that happen on my son's O, the very 1st time he put gas into it upon reassembly, we found out that iron Gard paint peels in sheets, not gasoline resistant at all.... very aggravating to have that happen after all that work. yes it was well cured, after a freshly sandblasted frame was primed and painted it sat in the attic for a few years and was forgotten about before it was reassembled...

Could be leaking in the threads, or the gasket where the bowl attaches to the Body, Fuel Filter. Gasket Kohler Part Number 210468.

Still seems you are the only one here that has issue with the paint. If the paint was as bad as you "claim" two of my tractors would have no paint on the tanks with all the fuel that's spilled on them... "If" the paint is as bad as you're "claiming" Master painted Tim sure wouldn't use it on his tractors.

All I can go by is my own experience. And that is what it is. On this O, it wound up being the compression sleeves to cause its fuel leak.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
