Default That was a quick mowing season

My grass looks like late July already. Hard dry ground, and dead except the roots.

No shortage of water here in SW PA. or any dry hard ground to be found, usually throwing rooster tails of water off tires trying to mow between rain storms ! Only dead grass here is from being waterlogged for months !

Dry??? We finally got some hay baled this week (us and everyone else with a baler within a 100 miles of here). I was getting water on the tires and tracking in places. Got the yards cut Friday night, more rain for the next 2 days.

Yeah been raining here way more than normal and we normally get a lot in the summer. Got 17.5” of rain in May alone. Mowing my grass twice a week lately.

Ha!
Sucks to be you, I just mowed today after mowing ten days ago.
Before that it was three weeks apart.
The grass, errr green weeds are just now getting enough rain per week.

We got a little rain yesterday. This is the end of my driveway between the two bushes.

We finally was able to get enough dry weather to finish planting last week.
Had to go to beans in one field as it was really too late for corn to be profitable.
We got 3X the normal rain in May.

Grass is growing like weeds around here. I don't even have the time to mow it as often as it needs done.

The midwest heat is blocking the storms from coming south
So they are lining up W to E up North
We got a half inch last night though

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
