We have a few used ones here without the 7.

Yesterday I got my new 108 running, brother drove it down the shed. Soon it will have fuel drained and gas replaced.

Finally got my 126 going again. Broke a roll pin in the driveshaft about a year ago and haven’t had time. New clutch drive plate, clutch disc, shifter replaced, muffler, and carb rebuild. Feels good to drive it again. Thanks to everyone here, I’m always reading posts here and you’ve been a lot of help.

Here's the 108 I just got the other day. Has the wrong mule drive, mower deck, and has a bad paint job.

Pulled the front left spindles (spindle with the drag link) and swapped them between the 1250 and 108. The one on the 1250 was bad. Really bad. I'll have to show some pics. Figured out the front rim on the 1250 has one original bearing with the center part missing, and another aftermarket one which is so worn it falls out of the rim. 108 rim was good, so I swapped them, too. Stole the spindle bolt bushing as well. Eliminated 45 degrees of play out of my 1250 steering.

It's way better.

Here's the old spindle off the 1250:

Refurbished and put on some old headlights and mounted a switch next to the ignition for power to a tow behind sprayer. Also put in an illuminated ampmeter, I wired it up to light up with the headlights.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
