Kind of..... Some of the Haban snowthrowers and blowers use some of the same parts blow-outs. They will not all work on the QL tractor. Only the H42 will for sure. The H48, I am uncertain, but it does seem to share all the same parts as the H42, so I think it will, but have seldom even seen an H48 anyway.... The 353/354 was a two stage blower designed for the '82 and up tractors. It's only on the list because it shared a couple part pics with the H42/48. It came out after the sale of CC to MTD. The 353/354 is not included in the IH books. |

I have a 1200 that I pushed snow with one year....... Never again! Clutching and shifting, raising and lowering the blade 500 times? Like to killed my arm! I can only imagine raising a blower manually! 1200 is a great cub! Personally I’d find a hydro.

We got the 1200 when I was 10. I won't be getting rid of it. Lifting the blade isn't too much of an issue for me. But, the one thing that I hate doing is getting off the tractor and angling the plow.

Here is another long discussion on why you should own a hydro. or buy a blade and don't worry about creepin'.

Not I’m not saying get rid of it. Get another cub! Can’t have to many! My blade isn’t power angle either so I understand having to get off to change it. I usually leave mine to the left.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
