Default Miller SyncroWave 210 TIG Welder

Okay, I found this on Cl. No mig spool gun included. Owner tells me it is about 2 1/2 years old with 10-20 hours of total use. What's it worth?

No really? No Mig or spool gun included? I wonder why...

I give you a hint! This machine can do AC TIG, DC TIG and DC Stick to get MIG spool gun capability you need a retrofit kit + a spool gun kit. It's still a good machine as it is but you can get a new one with MIG spool gun capability from Baker for less money then upgrading the one you found but the real question is "Who wants to weld steel with a spool gun instead of a MIG gun?" Spool gun are just good to MIG weld aluminum.

If it was priced lower and then paired with a Millermatic 212 MIG this can became a awesome setup to have fun with.

Thanks guys. I was thinking he would come off of the price but he will not so I will pass on it. I saw that package online and it is called the complete package now for $2800+ but I don't think it was offered 3 years ago with the Mig setup. I believe now it is around $400-$500 to add it to the older machine.

Last time I read about it the retrofit kit for the older machine was twice that price Todd and you have to install that motherboard yourself. Welding in a narrow space or underneath something with a spool gun is a real PITA you don't want to do that.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
