2072 drama queen (mower deck)
So a truly loved the 2072 working snow. So far it has been a pain for grass. PTO kicks out and what I was told was a 50 inch deck is model 358-19244C "44C" Rear scalp wheels hit the rear tires.
Going to check electrical for the PTO. But need to know if the deck is supposed to fit a 2072? Wondering if I have a mount set wrong on the undercarriage... |

The 44C wasn't offered for the supers. You need a bigger deck.
You need either a 46", 50", or the 60". |

I fell like such the drama queen now. lol After you posted I went to my "pile-o-decks". All of three of them. All are in various states of usability of course. And there under the tarp was the 50" for this machine.
Now off to fix that pesky PTO. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
