You should use this. It tells you.

It tells you on page 9-10, section 8, first paragraph:
Warning 1: If you have the early style with the master cylinder/ABS module combination, you can't do it without a GM (or equivalent) scan tool and proper training and knowledge.

I paraphrased. The reason a DIY'er can't is too long to type out.

If you have that style.... TAKE IT TO A SHOP! You won't find a "how to" on that style.

22 year old car worth what, $1500 if it's mint, at a dealer that likely charges far in excess of $100/hr.... I bet that happens, lol.

I just put an oil pump in a 2012 GMC Sierra for a guy for just under $1000. Dealers labor bill alone would have been more. Dealer shop rates are astronomical. I closed my business in 2015 with a labor rate of $65/hr and the dealers were at $90/95. Now they are at $112 here.... I don't see any difference in quality, facilities or better pay for the employees, so who gets all that?? I should charge more than I do to do this stuff. But, hey, I'm not a "business", just a guy, so it's good money.

It is the original MC
the problem is the pistons stuck to the bottom of the cly , not failed
The lines rusted at a connection and over a speedbump body flex caused both to leak , fixed the lines but not able to get pressure
Ill wait till warmer weather ,I have other rides, thanks for the expertice

I agree, service is too high priced! I work in the bodyshop and our rates are about half of what service charges. That said, we do have a few pretty smart fellows there.

If ever in need of a honest mechanic, you could go to Todd's automotive in Harrisonville. He is a friend and truly one of the good guys. Thats where I take my stuff when I can't do it myself.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
