Default New fronts on 127

Last week I looked for the best deal for new tires and rims for the front of my 127. Decided on going with the narrow rim and 3 rib tire. Found the tire for $18 a piece and $10 shipping. Rims are brand new at $30 a piece and $15 dollars shipping. Today's the tires came and and early this coming week the rims should be in and I will be able to put them on the 127.

Cool! Tri ribs look good. I like the narrow tri ribs. They look way better than those front tires that are checkered.

Steering effort should be greatly reduced with those style of tires assuming, of course, that the steering components are lubed and working properly.

Well it's all done, everything came in, put it together, threw them on the 127, took it for a ride around the yard, I think it looks great! What do you guys think?

Nice front tires, just curious is that the lh side or you have an extra set of turfs. Those tri ribs should give good traction. I just run hi-run turfs year round.
Looks good!!

Just an extra set of turfs, they will be going into my 2165 that was in need of fronts very bad. Figured I would buy these for my 127 and that way both tractors get a new set!

What twoton said, just the tars you are using, as those rims are not gonna fit.

Correct, I will have to break down the tires and swap them out for the 2165.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
