Sam,

I have a wiring harness from an 1864 if you need it. I was just in my garage looking at the pile o crap I need to get rid of.

I drove to Florida two weeks ago and went down I-81 to I-77 and wouldn’t you know it I saw a sign for Galax! That’s quite a hill to go over in the fog.

I've been waiting for warm weather to get going on 1864 # 2. Got the engine out, fender pan is off, fuel tank is out now I need to get the water turned back on at my shop (I drain it for the winter) and get the pressure washer hooked up and give it a good bath, nasty critter.

Guess the snow is gone down there. Hope winter is over for you! (And for me too!) Nothing but rain here.... for days now. But it's spring, and basically April. It's to be expected.

Ahhhhh. You've seen them worse. That one isn't too bad.

Glad to hear you're enjoying tinkering on your cyclops. Wish it were warm enough up here in NY to pressure wash something. We had snow on Monday !

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
