Any idea of what this is really worth? I'm thinking $3000 is on the high side.. maybe if it was restored https://syracuse.craigslist.org/grd/...373229454.html

One factor would be how long has it been sitting outside in the elements of destruction??

I'd want to hear it run before I gave over $750 for it.

What options? 3pt? Rear PTO? He doesn't list any.

Where's the snowblower? Out in the fence row? Or in a shed? Why was it parked out in the woods? How long ago?

I'm sure you are drooling all over this deal... but don't get your hopes up unless you are just crazy. Tractor sitting in the woods that a guy wants $3000 for and lists that it "runs great"???? When? 5 years ago? If that thing doesn't have any options it is never worth $3k even with the cab.

Here's a number: $1500-$1800 if no options and it runs.

I am with Jonathan, but I be more towards the 750-1000 range. You just do not leave that nice of a machine sitting out in the woods.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
