149 got some new shoes!
No matter how much I love my narrow fronts. With 8.50s and chains out back I finally decided to pull the trigger amd get the firestone and v61s. And I must admit I'm very happy so far!
For whatever reason this is the only picture it will let me upload. Keeps saying "page has generated a undefined or non specific error" every time I try to upload others. Weird

I also agree about the firestones. That's what I'll be getting once I need rear tires.

149 tires
I put the V61's on front of my 149 that I am sprucing up. Really pleased with the look. Firestone rears are the way to go, but pricey. Your 149 is looking good.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
