Another QL followed me home!
I got a good case of yellow fever! I just added a nice 1000 to the collection. What makes it worse is that the prior weekend a 1250 found its way into the barn too. I now have 5 Cubs, a 125, 1000, 1200, 1250 and a 1450 (the 125 is for sale though). All the QLs have 44a decks. At some point I'll get an 800 and 1650 to complete the set. I'd love to buy the 800 DeltaCub has for sale, but I promised my wife that I'd seek treatment for my yellow fever for a while.

Although DeltaCub's 800 is perfect, if you decide to buy it try this. I sneak a new cub in once in a while when I describe it as "parts" for my existing collection. Perhaps that will help you get past the "no more cubs" ruling. Congratulations on your new Quietline.

Yeah, I'm not sure if I want one of those half-breeds or not.
Thanks everyone! Somehow I don't think I'd be able to sneak in DeltaCub's sweet 800 into the mix.

Like my friend once told me, his ex wife didn't like his stuff, so
she left with his dog, he sure misses that old dog. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
