Does 1 plus 2 equal 3 ?
Does a number 1 cart and a number 2 cart equal a number 3? This is today's haul, found both at one location, about 35 miles from home. The #1 is pretty decent with a minor bow in the rear lip. The #2 is real straight but missing the tailgate. Got both for a Lew price of less than a Benjamin.
Anybody got a spare tailgate they'd like to part with? If not, I'll have to get one made.

Not necessarily. In a different modular system, 1 plus 2 could be 0 mod three. Modular arithmetic is sometimes used by computer programmers when writing algorithms or it can be used in abstract algebra for various other applications or uses. Of course, there is also different bases that we could get into, as well. So 3 could be 11 base two, or it could be 10 base three.
By the way, great haul on your carts!!! Looks like you got a really good deal on them and they appear to be in great shape. Cub Cadet 123

Great score Stan!!
I have a #1 and #2 cart(s). I only get them out and use them now and again. I have an old beater cart that I use most of the time. I'd like to get mine coated in IH white bedliner. My local shop can tint it just like paint for a perfect match. I think it would be great! I could use them and not worry about dinging or scratching them. |

Look like they will make good workers. Are you going to paint the green one?
Seems like a lot of those #1's are going around looking like that.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
