Default Picked up an RZT-S Zero Electric

My 1512 diesel had a very poor summer. The rag differential came apart early in the season and took a hydraulic line with it. After reassembly I found the a lift cylinder fitting also cracked. Reassembled again and the transmission pressure relief valves, an ongoing leak began turning into a faucet.

In short the 1512 needed winter to start ahead of schedule for recovery, restoration and sale.

So we added one of the RZT-S Zero electric riders from Chambers Cub Cadet in Carol Creek IL to the fray. Today it mowed an intricate 1/4 of an acre in 20 minutes and the battery gauge did not even dip the first increment. (half on regular blade speed, half on boost mode... lots of leaves) so no calculation yet on overall battery life. I sounds like an aggressive sewing machine accented by all the clunks normally masked by engine sounds. I have an acre specked with buildings, gardens and trees and expect no range problems. It will be very interesting mowing season nonetheless.

Valves rebuilt by Machtech Direct.

I replaced the valves with the rebuilds.
Drove aound the yard and few times and parked on my new garage floor overnight with no leaks.

Money I should have spent ages ago.

The electric mows my entire acre with a low 50% battery remaining with in an hour and a fifteen minutes of run time - late fall grass growth rates. (It only measures in quarters.)

So "Yes" - I'm selling the diesel. Or passively trying anyway.
I posted on Craigslist in Madison Wisconsin. Mower, Deck, Plow Blade, Snow Thrower, Chains, weights and 2 extra (worn) rear tires on rims. $2500

We bought a Cub Cadet Snowblower so I can part with the 1512 anytime.

Nice thing about two mowers - I have time to tinker at those nagging fixes I wanted to get to. My welded 3RM coupler is replaced with a genuine unit. All the lights work. I added the missing hydraulic cooling fan. Bad thing is my wife is noticing I'm still putting parts into the "retired" machine.
