Have you checked with our sponsors? Click the links at the top of each page. They are a great place to start your search. I would try Cub Classics and Patton Acres. If you don't see what you need list email them they have tons of parts not listed.

I buy most of my engine parts from www.tewarehouse.com. Their prices are hard to beat, and they have both OEM and aftermarket parts.

Have you guys had good luck with the parts? They are certainly a lot cheaper ( about 1/3 of the cost ) than the local Kohler authorized reps and I want to make sure they are quality parts before I rebuild the old girl. Its a K301 12hp, all I need is valves, piston, rings and gasket set.

So far, so good. Buy an extra OEM head gasket, as the head gasket that comes in the gasket set is crap. I have bought one pair of valves and one piston (both aftermarket) from them and used them, and they worked, but I can't comment on longevity, as I wound up selling both tractors. The quality seemed pretty good.
I would put a new rod in even if the old one is still in spec. I would also get the OEM Kohler rod. I think it's about $50 from TEW, but it's still cheap insurance.
