Yepper, when I respond on another forum, I always refer to here as home. "Back home we have this guy TIM who thinks he's ..." You get the drift.
Great est forum to be a part of, with an occasional smart a$$ or two.

I agree 100 percent!! The other forums and Facebook pages are full of crap.. OCC is friends and family! The knowledge and willingness to help the hobby here is unbelievable! Thanks to Roland and all the other unpaid admin here for keeping up a great site!!

I've been around OCC for a while, and its my home! Can post up pictures and stories here like no body's business! That's a big part of the fun to do that. That other site sure likes to complicate that action, so fooy on then! And was so sick of MTF after they changed it all around. I like old iron garden tractors, but the IH Cub Cadets are my favorite!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
