Default This site is awesome!

This is the best site by far for Cub Cadet info.

I do visit the other sites and I was checking to see if it is something on my end that is very annoying. I was trying to help a person on MTF but that site sucks anymore because there is so much crap running in the background that it locks my computer up and then I loose everything that I typed in. It is getting to the point that that site is a waste of time. Does anyone else have that issue?

I have been a contributor to MTF since 2005. You are correct. MTF has transformed. It is loaded up with pop-up Ads, difficult to navigate, and posting is tricky. Their Cub Cadet traffic has greatly diminished and now is mainly focused on the newer Cubs.

I look at their & other sites (WFM) formats, and I will keep OCC "Ad FREE". To me nothing is more aggravating, than trying to respond or read a post and get bombarded with Ads.

Thanks for the kind words and support.

OCC has become a part of my daily routine, checking the board as much as two or three times a day. As a man of many hobbies, I visit other sites as well and can say in all honesty, that this site is one of the best out there. The technical library is a great resource, not to mention all the combined knowledge of the members. I want to offer my sincere thanks to Roland and all the others who have made this site what it is. I look forward to socializing with all my e-friends, viewing the latest projects, and maybe even sharing a "cup of joe" with some of you in person one day!

Yes thank you Roland. This site is where I go 7 days a week to "de-stress" and get away from life and am beyond grateful there are no ads, no scammers, just normal people (for the most part )

I contract with Triple 3 Hosting and our Server guy is Tim. Tim and I do what ever it takes to keep the scammers and hackers out. The safety and integrity of our data is very important. Yes, we have had a few attempts to get in, but, they were NEVER successful, and we NEVER lost any data.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
