Just think, these kids today will be the one's taking care of some of us when we get old, and start drooling on ourselves... Well, some are already drooling.
We're screwed.

A local news station here was broadcasting the eclipse (we only got to about 75% totality here in PA), and they were telling people to not stare at the TV screen for too long. The women were watching it in the break room at work, were all taking turns looking at the TV.

That's funny!

I was in a meeting with a bunch of college educated professionals and one of them actually asked some of us "more experienced" if it was even safe to go outside!?!?

DJ on the radio this afternoon said they were actually being asked to remind folks NOT to use eclipse glasses for sunglasses. In the words of Bill Engvall, "Here's your sign."

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
