Old treated lumber.
I tore down my old porch and need to get rid of the lumber, it's very old treated lumber that's rotten to the point it's falling apart. I've always heard you shouldn't burn it but I'm not sure how else to get rid of it that doesn't cost a fortune, any suggestions?

If it's old it's probably CCA. Illegal to burn in all 50 states. CCA is exempted from being required to go to an EPA certified landfill. Regular trash should take it or there may be a construction debris landfill in your are that will take it if you have a lot. A 12 foot 2X6 has and ounce of arsenic in it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
