Oh that poor thing. Sometimes words just can't describe it. This is one of those instances where we should all donate $ and parts to have Tim get it and fix it/paint it right just because. But then again, the price is way wrong, wow, I always like to see the Johnny five eyeballs that people put on too.

At the very least, someone should inform this seller that CC doesn't mean "Chocolate Cadet"

Yeah, that's a beauty.
Got me to thinking, so I went on our WI Craigslist, typed in Cub Cadet. Haven't looked for awhile, and man, was I surprised.
Seems our tractors are worth a lot more than I figured. There is a good number of them for sale, but they are asking outrages money for something, well let's say, ROUGH condition at best...
You all want to see crazy money. And some say, "Price is firm". Don't know where some of these prices come from, but man...
Sorry Tim, for hijacking your thread, but had to say something.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
