Odds and ends. Been cutting wheat and baling straw this past week. Hauled last load of wheat, unloaded last of straw into barn. Got everything put away, still need to clean out innards of the combine before its sits for 11 months. Sharpened blades on 1811. Pulled the 782 in shop and took carb apart--including welch plugs THIS time. Brought sprayer to shop, plan is to convert it to a rear mounted unit and leave it on the 782 instead of a tow behind.

I worked at the COOP all through high school and miss wheat harvest. Don't miss the lack of sleep, but talking to the people, and throwing a few back with the custom cutters! Man, some of those Canadian cutters were crazy!

I'm working on making the wife and fetus happy while also trying to keep the pool mixed up so the algae doesn't grow. The wife wanted crabs for her birthday, so we (she) got those. Now on to "mixing" the pool water.

You know pregnant women shouldn't eat seafood right?

Took a road trip yesterday to meet and greet an old geezer, not necessarily by my old geezer standard but gaining on me every day, in north Wisconsin. Spent 3 hours jabber together. Mostly about Cubs. Drove home with the grill of a really nice 149 staring me in the rearview mirror. With the exception of the CarQuest battery about as original as I could imagine.

Unloaded it at the shop this morning without problems. A 5,000 lb forklift sure comes in handy.

Spending the next 3 days working on my Cadet 95 and looking to get that in use by the middle of the month.

Overall simply a splendid way to spend four days.

Don't remember that, but I do remember getting yelled at for raising the garage door too quick and letting the heat out during the winter---did I forget to mention my garage isn't heated. Those were scary days!

They are allowed up to 12 oz per week. Doctor cleared her before we went. Apparently seafood is good for brain development...just don't overdo it.

Battling a bout of Shingles, so no fun projects for me. Might sit at the workbench and build a couple model airplanes while I wait for it to clear up. Oh, and curse up a storm each time the pain flares up.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
