I think I figured out what's going on here. Jon's woman must have killed him so now she's on here posting from his account so nobody will suspect anything.

Good post Jon. I don't have any builds going on now but still working on my project tractor. Jon, you have been a tremendous help with my machines.

I usually check your posts first, if I don't learn anything new, they are usually where the excitement is.😄

You do awesome work too Tim! I like the one you have now, but that SGT you had with the custom tire set up, and front blade set up was really awesome.

LOL on that last part!

You never know!

No seiously, I really meant this more to get people to pay attention and maybe post. I miss the build threads. I like what Terry said though:

I am guilty of not enough "good job" comments also. But if it's one of our core group I figure we all know what we are doing and don't need encouragement. I usuallly wait till I see significant progress before I say something. I don't want to sound like a mindless cheerleader.
I by no means am suggesting making comments every time there is a post. The guys who post the build threads I think do it just for fun and to keep everyone in the loop. I really like how Sam does it. Some days it's just a post with no pics telling what was accomplished. No real need to make a comment. Unless it's Alvy. In which case he's a slacker and needs to be told so. (Sorry Mike, couldn't resist.) I too like to wait and comment when progress has been made. Not comment at every post/update. That would get annoying.

I believe it is human nature to jump in to criticize someone when a poor job was done but say nothing when the job was done right. I recall when I was an office supervisor I was far too quick to jump on someone who made a mistake but failed to say anything when the job was done correct. I made a conscience effort to correct myself and found I had much better work when I said good job when it was deserved.

Thumbs up

Good point Jon! You know, it's taken me a while to come to terms with you, and my own cocky self, but you are a great help to us here at OCC! I'm not going to sit and flatter you, but I see that you are a good wealth of info!

As for my own skill set, rarely have anyone here seen me with my IH Cub Cadets down. All 4 of mine run! I only learn and acknowledge what problems I come across.

Let's keep up with the good complements!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
