Default 2182 no start

Used the tractor to cut grass, turned it off in the driveway to use my Husqvarna mzt. When I came back to move the cub, it wouldn't start. When I turned the key, I couldn't hear my Holley fuel pump and the starter did not even click. First thing I did was check the battery, it shows 12 volts. Since it was cheap, I replaced the ignition switch. There is no change. When I turn the key and leave it for about 10 seconds, I then start to hear a clicking noise. It's like there is low voltage but the battery shows 12 volts and when i put a jump box on it, there is no change. Thoughts?

I would check the LH Brake Pedal Switch (RED to RED/BLK wires) to see if this switch and/or connection is bad or broken.

X-2 what Roland said. Sounds like a bad wire issue. Seeing it worked, then didn't that soon.
Did you happen to leave/bump the PTO when you got off? Or someone was playing around it while you weren't there?
Had one of the grandkids flip the PTO one time on me. Went to use the tractor, nothing. Took a few minutes to figure out what happened.

Ended up chasing it down to needing battery cables. The resistance in the positive cable was yielding less than 2 volts. Went ahead and changed both and she started right up after sitting for 6 weeks. This is an awesome machine and love the kubota wg600.

I just needed the time to sit down next to it and start testing things. Didn't take too long. It's always a good feeling when you can figure something out and fix it.

Good job. Sometimes just starting back at the basic stuff is the best way to tackle problems.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
