Default Auction buys

Hi, went to a farm machine auction at the miapa show grounds and got some good deals. Got a $6 42in snow blade with homemade side wings, the wear edge was very worn. Also got a nf front axle with spindles. The axle had a almost new left hand side splindle that I put on my 125 when I got home. Got that for $12, the pivot pin is stuck, I think I will take it to my uncle's hydraulic press and push it out. Is there an easier way? Also the mounts for the blade look different to me, would it fit my 149 like that correctly? I've never seen a plow with a plate on the bottom of the triangle, when did they add that?

The plow should fit and I bet the homemade brackets will line up with the Frankenstein bolts or an existing hole in the frame.

Default Plow

Is the rod supposed to be 6.5 in from the subrails? Also I think this plow was at this auction last year.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
