Default What is it worth?

I do not have any attachments so I am looking at #2 International tiller and a 3 point set up for a 782. What would these items sell for? They look to be in pretty good shape. They are about 1 and half hours from me. Thanks for any input.

That is a #2 tiller. They sell for $250-$400 depending on seller. I don't see a gearbox for the tiller. If he doesn't have it, I'd only give about $150, maybe $200 for the tiller. If it's all there, I'd pay no more than $300.

That is part of a cat 0 hitch. Which, without modification won't work with the #2 tiller. Doesn't look like it's all there. For what is there.... $100 MAX. For the part of the hitch that I see in the pics.... $75 is all I'd give.

As with all things, prices are an opinion only. There is no book.

I agree with J Mech. A tiller gearbox is difficult to find by itself. The seller most likely has the tiller with it and won't separate it to sell it. I was looking for a gearbox last year and ran into that. On the rare occasion that I did find just the gearbox for sale it was in the 150-200 range.

Says in the description it comes with the gearbox. I would think 200-300 would be a decent deal on it myself. But in all honesty it all depends on what your willing to pay for one

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
