Default Cub-Allis Puller

This mini D21 tractor pulled in our club a couple times last year but I never got pics of it. Its frame and drivetrain are wide frame cub. I ran across it at Lanesville Heritage tractor show over the weekend and snapped a couple. Since last year the boys father built him an Allis 6080 puller, using narrow frame cub and drivetrain.

I guess I will never understand this . apparently they do not like CUB CADETS and that is fine everybody likes different things. but why must they stick their favorite sheet metal on a CUB CADET drive line? THAT TELLS ME IT TAKES A CUB CADET TO BE COMPETATIVE!

the percentage of lost power through a belt drive rearend system and the inability to make them strong enough to put any real amount of horsepower through the driveline pretty much leaves you with the choice of a Cub Cadet or Economy . a Cub has a more efficient rearend/transmission than an Economy.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
