I just looked into it this evening sure enough it was the pin fell out with the engine running the driveshaft is not turning I will tell my uncle about getting the correct pin and possibly get one from jeffinpa. I think while were at it we will change the filter and oil. Thank you everyone for the advice the problem is not as bad as I thought it be.

Check out the hole that the pin goes through. They tend to get elongated over time and sounds like yours is if the pin fell out. Jeff makes a gnurled pin that solves this if it's not too bad but it sounds like you may need a new drive shaft as well. Also, check the engine coupler for the slot the pin rides in as they also tend to be elongated over time.

Yes I will probably need the nurled pin as the hole is pretty wallered out.

If it's wallowed, get a new driveshaft. Getting a pin to stay put, even a knurled one, is just lots of frustration. Jeff makes driveshafts too!
