If you ever have the chance to get to Wiliamsburg IA, try to get a tour of the Kinze tractor collection (which has to be arranged in advance). It will take the better part of a day (that also includes a plant tour), but it is WELL WORTH IT to see his tractor collection, no matter what color tractor you like!

Well, I haven't really gotten back into this project as of yet. Couple other "to-do's" that are priority. Mainly working on my truck. But I also notice that the grass is getting green..... need to have a mower ready soon.
I did however, grab a decal and bought an operators manual for it. Had to have it, as it contains all the seed charts. I also hunted for literally hours and finally found a lid for a pot that fit the seed box I made perfectly! I couldn't find a pot lid that wasn't overpriced, and the "cheap" ones I found didn't have any specs, so it took a while to find one. Finally found one on Amazon, so I ordered two. I painted them black, but unfortunately, the last coat I hit them with fish-eyed really bad, so I'm going to have to sand them and hit them again. I took some pics from far away, so you can't see the nasty paint, lol. Lovin' it though!! 1.jpg2.jpg |

You know, it's funny. I thought the same thing! It literally looks like a used a pot and painted it. I really didn't though. But I did use a pot lid!
I don't even care that it looks funny. (I know you guys are teasing, I'm not upset in the least! I'm laughing with you.) It is going to be great! I need to get to work making the hitch though.... so many things to do. |

I think it looks cool! And makes me think of venison stew!
Just gonna throw this out there and you probably have a plan already. My old man never met a planter lid he could not loose..... Many a time I have been sent out on a four wheeler looking for seed or insecticide covers. Might save some seed if the cover can't be jostled off.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
