I have only parted with one so far and it was a similar deal. I gave my Grandfathers 1811 to my cousin a couple months ago. His daughter already loves it, and it hasn't even snowed yet.

Good man, Jon!!

His big question at first was why I wanted to get rid of it. I told him "I don't! but I want to give it to you". It was the only NF I have that runs, so it only made sense to throw in all the attachments. I think he'll really like it.

To family!
I said the exact same thing! and forbid him from selling it

That was very nice of you Jonathan; I think you told me you were eventually going to give it to him, I'm sure you will miss it.

Great gesture of giving the 125 to your brother.
I try to keep the family supplied with cubs too.
Gave my son a 106 and a 127, and the daughter has a 102.
I had a rough 86 that I gave to my grandson. He sold it. I had to go find a better one and hes not getting that one
Your brother is going to like the 125 and attachments.
Regards,
Chris

Travis, Nick and Chris: Thanks guys! I think he'll like it too! I am going to miss it. I really liked the 125. I'll probably try to find another one.

I gotta say Dad and I both may have had a tear or two as it rolled away. But I'm sure my Grandfather would be proud!

Aye. The only thing that annoyed me about that style machine (MTD and after) is how the front half of the hood decals always seem to be missing!

Anyway, back on topic. Don't worry John, more will come your way, I have a feeling

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
