Iowa plow day video..LOTS of tractors!
Found this on youtube...pretty cool. Look at all the vintage garden tractors! Lots of Cub HI's too! Kind of a funny video seeing everyone held up with a downed tractor...sadly looked like a cub holding up the line. LMFAO!!!!!!!

Nice to see more than 4 guys showed up. The last local garden tractor plow day I attended I could count the guys on one hand and they all had JDs. My local "big tractor" plow day informed everyone that 2012 was the last year for it.

I was there and I saw myself and my Dad in the line up .I believe there were 75 tractors in that line . Rockford was one of the first garden tractor plow days , they always had a good turn out but there hasn't been a plowday there for a coupl years now . Not sure why, wasn't due to lack of interest .

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
