I never cared too much about dealing with yellow jackets. Would sometimes get stung when killing the nests, but never more than a slight bump and itch. Two years ago, I was stung by one yellow jacket, no big deal right? Within two minutes I passed out. Wife called ambulance. Paramedics there when I regained conciseness. Developed a funky heart beat. Now I am much more careful, carry a epi pen when I remember and call the pest control exterminator.

When it comes to a nest of killer bee's (which I have now determined you have/had), you can never have enough fire

Yikes! Not honey bees. I've found 2 in the ground and 1 in the chestnut tree. The ones in the ground i pour gas in in the evening and let it set. Within a couple days something comes by an digs the nest out and eats it. Mike

About 20 years ago I found a yellow jacket nest while mowing with my 1210. Got the crap stung out of me. Went back later that night and poured a mix of diesel fuel and gas down the hole and lit the little SOB's up.

Hate bees. I once paid a kid 5$ an hour to stand on a roof behimd me with a tennis racket while i was doing a soffit job. Another time I went to give a bid on a leaky roof one time cause the sheetrock was bowing and as i was waiting for the customer to open the door watched about 15 bees fly in the facia bord and thats was maiking the rock sag, called a friend of mine that handles bees and he romved the nest and about 15" by 24" honey comb!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
