Once I got a ZT I never looked back for mowing.... That's a nice one... my BIL has one and its held up nicely only had to re-weld the muffler brace in 5 years of heavy use....

Just be careful if you have hills..... Congrats on the purchase...!

Have no idea Todd. Good question. Someone will know, not me.
(edit) NO!!! We "shouldn't) have 2' of snow.
LMFAO!

I think its the fuel pump. If it's not that, it's likely an inertia switch. Shuts the fuel off in the event of a roll over.

Speaking of roll over, make sure she stays away from the pond. Almost lost a guy locally that way. He fell off the bank on a ZTR. Rolled over and pinned him. He could just keep his head above water. Happened at the city park.... people saw it and got to him really quick. He was fine, but pretty shook up.

Thanks for the heads up Jon. But the cutting around the ponds looks much worse in pictures. Where we stop cutting, it's still relatively flat. From that point to the water is stone, and that get's done with the weedeater...

Well, it seems she likes the Bota. Haven't heard any complaints, and it cut down on the mowing time substantially.
Finally got a couple pictures of "Speedy" today...

Glad she likes it. Looks like a stout machine. Did you need to cut tree branches higher due to the roll bar? My Dad did after a couple of "experiences" with his.

Yes sir. She just folds the ROPS by the apple trees. They are dwarfs, so really can't cut much from them...

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
