Yep, you have it right. Locally we quarantine them in a town called Cary, NC. Its short for "Concentrated Area of Relocated Yankees". There are NO old Cadets there. Lew would not do well there. Now of course if you don't tell us every day how you did it up North, we are a rather welcoming bunch of folks.

I relocated to NC 23 yrs ago from New Mexico. I'm not sure that I'm a yankee, and I'm not born in the south (though I've also lived in Alabama and Florida and New York and Maryland and California) so I can't be a southerner.

I'm certainly a southerner by choice!

I was thinking about the multi level kind of car hauler..... I don't know if there are any of those with full width decks cause most of those haulers are the ramp kind. However, I've seen one of those two tiers that carries golf carts. One of those could do all the tractors. Prolly still need a tractor trailer to carry the loose stuff.

Most all semi trailer moving vans have deck boards the can be installed to place furniture in a second "layer" over the first. It ends up being about 4 1/2 ' off the floor. Put in as many cubs as you can get on the floor of the trailer, installing the deck boards over the load as you work your way back, then load the deck with more cubs. With a 54' trailer, that's a lot of cubs and parts. $9500 is a little salty. It would be a lot better around $4500 as mentioned. Sure would be fun though!

Yes Lew, I got tired of shoveling snow and moved down here in 1993.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
