Default New shop toy.

This should make working on the 108 a little easier. Extensions on the Hydraulic motorcycle lift.

I'm looking at one of those for my shop.
How tall is the lift when it is all the way down?
How high does it go?
electric or air powered?

When it's down it is about 6" above the floor. Maximum height is 32". It is a hydraulic pump which hooks up to the air line. It has different locking heights so there are different positions up to the 32" height. There are no stability issues at all. You can also put longer pieces of metal through the metal on the floor to increase stability if needed. It is made by Direct Lifts. I've had it for a while using it for my Harley. The extensions are secured by 3 1" rods 50" long (heavy wall conduit)that slide through the lift. The extension kit cost $230 so I used the aluminum walk boards I already had and used a knock cutter to put the holes in them.

The walk boards were originally one 16' piece and someone cut it in have to make ramps. I would never have done that, but since they were already cut they worked out great.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
