The 3/8 belt is going to sit deeper in the pulleys. By the time it goes around 4 pulleys you can lose a lot of length with the 1/2 belt. The correct belt should be just right.

You know Brian, Mistakes happen and I apologize for the inconvenience.
A simple email saying HEY MAN! YOU SCREWED up would have been what I would have done, but that's just me. LOL

I look forward to your email.

Are you from cub cadet specialties? If so you SCREWED UP!! I know it happens, no big deal and life rolls on. I do need to send it back though as I have no use for it.

The BEST way to contact any Vendor, is through their direct Phone number or direct E-Mail Address.

You can send him a PM on this site, but an email or phone call is just too difficult?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
