Default Cub Cadet Narrow Frame Creeper Rebuild Kits

This kit is for IH Cub Cadet CAST IRON creepers! Narrow and Wide Frame Cubs

$40.00 + $7 s/h

I searched for a while before deciding to compile a rebuild kit for the replaceable parts in my creeper. After installing a creeper I bought off eBay, I realized it leaked out of every place possible, causing me to take it back off and rebuild it and as we all know, not a very pleasant process. I always rebuild them now before installing them, its less headache and peace of mind. This kit is very inexpensive and very easy to do. I include instructions and diagrams to help with rebuilding them.

PM me for details or email csand1@unh.newhaven.edu

Where did you source the bearing?
It looks suspiciously like one of the $5 hardware store pieces??
Please prove me wrong here.

Default Nice kit

Looks like a really nice kit for those who are lucky enough to have a cast iron unit. Thanks for assembling it. Will you be producing one for Aluminum versions ?

Thanks, took a while to find parts that were equal or better to the originals. Unfortunately I do not have a tractor with an Aluminum creeper, If I had one, I would certainly make a kit.

"Cub Cadet Narrow Frame Creeper Rebuild Kits"

So,.. I thought I read here that the only difference between the cast iron creeper for the narrow frames and the cast iron creeper for the wide frames/quietlines was the handle???

If so, would this mean that your kit will work for all cast iron creepers?

Yes, the only difference is the handle.

I've only owned NF cubs in the past, good to know it will work with all Cast Iron Creepers... Thanks!

Maybe an admin will take the Narrow Frame part out of my thread then if they see this... lol

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
