We've talked a lot about the Powerball. If you won, just think how many new friends you would have!
If I won it, I'd put 100 million out on interest, play with another 15 million and then share the wealth with family and many people who have touched my life. I'd sit down and make a list of people and then we would all become co-winners so Uncle Sam could only tax the money one time.
Can you imagine how many enemies you would have because you left them off your list!

Seems like a good trade off. I can put five Cubs where one car sat and there are no titles or license to fool with!

I know people that say they wouldn't want to win because of all the people that would want handouts but I don't think that would be an issue for me, I know who my friends are and everybody else can get bent.

I'd be nice to win, but yeah you'd have more friends than you ever thought! Leaches trying to get money from you! I wouldn't work a regular job anymore. Just in Cubs, tractors or whatever I felt like! Lol it's nice to dream, but it ain't gonna happen. If you did win that, what's the amount you'd be limited to putting into a bank? I thought it was like 1million? Where would you put all that money? I'd be leary of investing all of it or half of it. Probably create more headaches than it would solve.

FDIC only insures an account up to $250K, so you'd have to break it up. Investing is the smart choice. Smart thing would be to play on the commodity markets and buy gold. Real estate is always a good choice but it seems like we are forming another bubble with land. The price of land here is so high that you can't buy any farm ground unless you already own some. It won't make enough to make the payments..... like not even close. No way that price is sustainable, or likely to go up. My fear is soon the price is going to drop and we'll be right back in another depression. Low interest now, yes.... but it doesn't matter if you paid $8K an acre for ground that suddenly is only work $3K.

I'm sure that will stir the pot....

I'd get a burial vault and put half the money in it then bury it out in the yard and put a gazebo on top of the spot where it is, I'll call it my rainy day fund.

So many ppl who win big go to hell in a hurry.
You will never have privacy!! those who have money now, know how to live and enjoy it.
Those who don't have $$$ now, will do stupid things and either kill themselves or
be killed by some liberal idiot.

You would have to live like a fugitive,
So sad our world is today.
No thank you, no lotto ticket for me, unless I could remain completely anonymous.
Then I would help family and ppl who are good but need better jobs, I'd create good paying jobs for good ppl
not lazy, you owe me types.

Well I'll spring for another $20.00 for the next drawing, if I should get lucky I'll deal with the problems.

Hell I may even go and buy another 1996 or older Cub Super.

Is it wrong that I truly believe Sam would do that.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
