Default Need front blade attachment instructions, 1811

I have a 1989 garden tractor model 1811 and a snow blade. The snow blade part number is 190376-100. The seller of the sn blade assured me this is that part number, but I can't find a part number on the unit.

Yesterday I tried to hook the blade to the tractor. posts on the unit hook to the hook receptors on front of the tractor, but the arms at the back end of the blade unit are not long enough to hook onto the support bar located under the tractor. I don't know if I got something wrong or the blade is not the right one.

Does anyone have written instructions for attaching the blade? Or experience attaching it?

I took a video of the unit under the tractor and posted it to my youtube account. It is unlisted so it does not appear in a search. You can access it from this address:

If you cannot access it for some reason, let me know, and I will make it public. thank you!

The arms appear to be long enough. They do go on the yellow bar that supports the foot rests.

They do?! I thought the yellow bar was a frame support for the tractor. It doesn't appear to be as strong as is the bar to the rear to which the mower unit attaches.

WOW! I will try it! Do written attachment instructions exist?

Try the last manual on the list. I am not downloading all of them right now since I'm on my phone.

Oh, just saw the links. you posted. Looked at them. My unit doesn't have the large triangular part right behind the blade.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
