What model snow thrower is this?
This is listed locally, I've contacted the owner to see if they can give me model info, but I thought I'd check here.
Can anyone tell what model it is? Will it fit my Wide Frame tractors? (149,1200) Finally, what's it worth? Thanks!

It "looks" like a QA-36 or QA-42, depending on the cutting width. With that in mind, it is for a NF Tractor.
Unless you get the numbers off the tag, OR better images of the "mount" that is the best I can do. Price....typically....$100.00

Thanks.
I asked for a pic of the model/serial number plate. We'll see what they come back with. They are asking $80, I thought that was a fair price. I'll let you know what they send me. It would go well with my NF push blade... Maybe someone is telling me I just need to get a NF tractor.

In a good winter with snow, that would fetch $200-$275 in my area. Heck, for $80 and the belts with it......that's a no brainer. Bag it! See if he has the chute control and lift rod with guide to include with it.

I love how you guys seem to think these are worth $200+ I had this one in the for sale section listed for $200 ended up getting down to $100 and still no takers. It belonged to a good friend, I put it on C-List and finally ended up trading it for a .22 Savage rifle.

Great.
They replied that they couldn't find any model #. I'm guessing they didn't know where to look. But the consensus seems to be it will fit my WF tractors. It's about 2 hours from me, but close to my parents, and my Dad is a real estate appraiser, so he's always in "that area" lol. For $80, I'll have him swing by and pick it up. This time next year I'm going to have a 400' driveway. I'll need one of these then lol.

The straight upper arms will limit lift height on a WF. Extreme sells the upper arms to correct that.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
