Default Getting some shop time

I finally managed to get some decent time in the shop yesterday. Got the 124 and 782 out of there after sitting in pieces for a month.
782 should be ready for sprayer duty, hard to believe but there will be weeds to deal with in 3 months. We used the heck out of it last year.
124 is pretty much taking up shed space, no real need of it, but don't want to dispose of it yet either.
Got a couple small farm tractors that need attention. Spring is coming you know. When I get the farm equipment squared away, there is a matter of a 2284 that is due for a lot of goodies. They are here, it just hasn't made it high on the priority list yet.

Shop time is nice! I've been thinking about the fact I need to do some repairs on the grass equipment before spring. Warm there John?

Warm? It was zero last Sun morning, got to 70 by Thurs, now it barely got to freezing today.
Daddy told me yesterday I need to get mowers ready to chop grass. I told him they were all running when parked.

Yeah..... grass. Nice thought. Snow supposed to be coming in tonight. Not much, maybe 3"...... but I'm thinking about digging out a blade at least just in case. Dark now, and it's not hard to get to. I don't want to think about it really, lol.

Hey John, I think you need to hook this planter up to the 124 and run it next to the full sized one.

After my late Father in Law was done planting corn in the fields, the planter got a good wash down and dried. Then it was used to make 3 passes in the garden with sweet corn ( 12 rows total )

We did the same thing. Even put out the same amount of liquid nitrogen and dry fertilizer. They would even plant butter beans and snaps with it. Leaving fertilizer in the hoppers for almost 4 months didn't do the planter any favors.

When he got the "new" combine ( Gleaner 4 row ) , I adjusted the corn planter to match the width. Had a bit of a hard time getting him to agree to let me narrow it to match. ( fellow stubborn pa dutchman ) I did the math to show how many extra rows he could fit in each field plus making it easier to run the combine.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
