Looking great Uncle Lew!!! That will lift many puddy tats (that was the name of my previous cat BTW). You can use some aluminum foil (use shiny side) to polish up the handle. No, it is not like new but it does do a nice job. Looking forward to seeing your updated pics.

Do you have one of the blasting hoods from H.F.? I picked one up a couple years ago, and it won't keep sand from the nether regions, it does well around the ears, eyes and overall head area...

Nice work Lew.
I had an awesome write up that Geezer did from "over there" but it's on my old computer that crashed. It's in PDF with good pics & part numbers IIRC. Does anyone have it and can it be posted up here in the tech section?

Oak, I think I have a copy of the write up you are talking about. It is in three sections complete with part numbers and pictures. I used it when I rebuilt my Hydro unit for my 100. It is in PDF format but the file sizes are to large to attach to this post. Send me a PM with your e-mail and I will send the files to you.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
