Happy Fathers Day to all !! And thank you. Had a good day today when I first got my Club 100 I met a older gentleman and talked to him for awhile, talk to him about Club Cadets on that day. He has 10 different models. I went over today to ask a quick question about my club 122 Well 3 hours later I left. Got alot of conversation and man he has a vest knowledge about these tractors gave me ideas about getting a small shop set up in my garage to doing repairs to my club. When the time came to leave I could tell that he still wanted to talk but I told him that I had to get back that my family was waiting for me. He went back to what he enjoys best cutting his 2.5 acres of grass with his club cadet!! So A special Father Days Day to all of you old timers and Vets that have given all to FAMILY AND COUNTRY and Your CUB CADETS. Fer100

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
