Default Just wanted to share this guy with you!!

I live in Barstow California, its in the High Desert. We have tempature extremes,115 in summer and in the teens in the winter! Its been warming up here and things are blooming and growing. All the critters are comeing out.We were riding out back,Behind our property is BLM land, and saw a tortious sat. But I wanted to share this guy with you.

This is a horny toad as we call it ,or a horned lizzard. He eats ants and does NOT do well in captivity. One of there defences are squriting blood from there eyes!

They grow to be about as long as a mans hand.We really dont see them much anymore,it was popular to pick them up and try to keep them.

I thought if you guys have creatures from your area you could post some pics!!

The good OL' Horny Toad, one of natures greatest wonders. Just like Jason, we have those too out here in West Texas in the summer time. In my opinion, they always seem to me like a miniature dinosaur. They are very prehistoric looking. I'll see if I can get some pics of some of the little critters that we have around here where I live. Should be fun. Take care guys.

I thought this was funny!!!

We have a Australian bearded dragon and a desert tortoise, they stay in the same cage together and share the same heat rock!! The tortoise sleeps on the rock with his head down, feet out,and looks dead,(hes not!!) its either the turtle on top of the lizard or the lizard on top of the turtle!!

Looks like the lizard won!!

I tried bearded dragons. Buy for some reason they always died after taking them outside for some fresh air. I did that twice and then gave up. But they are cool.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
