Cub Cadet 107 hydro lever moves going uphill
I recently had the hydro pump out of a 107 to replace seals, gaskets and to fix the trunnion square (installed new springs) but am noticing that when going uphill i notice the speed control lever on dash moves itself to the neutral position which ends up stopping tractor in its tracks. If i hold the lever in a stationary position when going uphill it has no problems, noises or lack of power and keeps a constant speed. Is this normal movement to happen when going up hill. I know the speed lever isn't a cruise control but not sure if the rapid self speed decrease is normal. This is my first hyrdo tractor so looking for advice if there is an adjustment or something that needs done. When driving around normal flat ish ground the speed lever does hold its position.

Quote:
It should be above item #20 on the attached image. It compresses item #22, the Friction Discs.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
