Default Haban 374

I was finished with all my prevented maintenance on my cub , So I went to reinstalled my Haban mower deck. When I raised the mower deck up after I hooked up all my clips and brackets , the front of the deck raises much higher than the rear . I'm new so I really didn't pay a lot of attention to the mower deck before I took it off can anybody tell me if this normal or do I have something hooked up wrong . I looked at all the places where it attaches to the tractor and it looks okay . I'm hoping for some word of wisdom from all the cub guru out there !

This is how I had my Haban hooked up. I wouldn't worry too much about it in the raised position as long as it is running on the wheels when it's running.

I have used my 2072 with the 60" Haban for Probably 5 years now. I would have to say it lifts pretty level front to back.....But it only lifts a total of about 2" maybe 3". It doesn't lift as much as some of the other garden tractors. I now have my supported by chains at four points as the weight of that deck was really wearing the hanging hardware. I know guys say to let u it ride on the casters....That will b for another time. Definitely don't step on the deck while lifted. U could while it's resting on the wheels....But even then I try not to. Some close up pics of the lift points would help diagnosing your situation.

No No , it goes all the way down so the casters are on the floor , when you look at it the rear is setting lower than the front when you raise it up . I looked at the picture it seems to be the same and in the back there is a little hook flat bar that is hooked into the tractor, that looks the same is there any adjustments as how far it's suppose to go down ?

Follow the set up directions carefully. Make sure your mule drive/ hanger/mounting brackets are assembled correctly.

Okay so I had senior moment , I went through all the pictures and made sure that everything was attached to the tractor like in the pictures of the manual , I check to see when I lift up would it move up or down like if something was stuck , no everything was good . So I raised the deck up and with the hydraulics and thought lets measure the deck to the floor . To my surprise the damn thing is level it must be an optical illusion. the back of the deck is within a 1/4 of inch to the front , but when you look at it looks lower in the back then the front . Thanks and sorry it was my mistake sorry for taking up your time I feel pretty silly right now.

Well...your not completely wrong. The front of the deck is thicker with what we will call the "discharge tunnel". I could see how u were second guessing.
....and lets just say....we have all made mountains out of a mole hill at some point
Glad u got it all squared away!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
